Someone on your crew wants you dead. It could be your best friend sitting next to you. Could be the quiet one who’s been “doing tasks” in electrical for way too long. Among Us throws 4-15 players into a spaceship where most of you are just trying to get the job done and leave. One or more of you? Impostors. Their job is sabotage and murder.

The whole thing works because nobody knows who to trust. You’re watching everyone, they’re watching you, and one wrong accusation sends an innocent person floating into space.

Maps

Five locations to get paranoid in:

The Skeld – The original spaceship. Tight corridors, electrical room that’s basically a death trap, security cameras that actually help if someone bothers to watch them.

MIRA HQ – Office building layout. More open than The Skeld, fewer hiding spots, a different vent system that connects across the whole map.

Polus – Planet base with outdoor sections. Bigger than the first two, which means bodies can sit undiscovered for a while.

The Airship – Massive. Multiple floors, ladders, plenty of room for Impostors to pick people off without witnesses.

The Fungle – Mushroom jungle setting. The newest map plays differently from the others with its own task set and layout quirks.

Roles

Basic split: Crewmates do tasks and try to figure out who’s killing everyone. Impostors fake tasks and kill Crewmates without getting caught.

Four additional roles got added in updates:

Engineer – Crewmate who can use vents. Useful, but also makes you look suspicious.

Guardian Angel – Dead Crewmates can protect living ones from a single kill attempt.

Scientist – Access to vitals from anywhere, so you know immediately when someone dies.

Shapeshifter – Impostor variant that can temporarily look like another player. Chaos.

Customization

Colors, hats, visors, skins, pets. Standard stuff. Some seasonal costumes unlock if you mess with your device’s date settings – Halloween and Christmas items work this way.

Game Modes

Classic – Standard Among Us. Nobody knows who the Impostor is until bodies start dropping or someone slips up in a meeting.

Hide n Seek – Impostor identity is revealed from the start. Crewmates just have to finish tasks before getting hunted down. Less deception, more panic.

Detection and Meetings

Admin map shows player locations by room. Security cameras let you watch certain areas in real time. When someone finds a body or hits the emergency button, everyone gets pulled into a meeting to argue about who did it. Vote someone out or skip – either way, the game continues until Crewmates finish tasks, Impostors kill enough people, or a critical sabotage goes unresolved.

Lobby Settings

Preset configurations for quick setup. Adjust Impostor vision range, kill cooldown timers, task count, voting time, and a bunch of other variables. Useful if you’re playing with a regular group and want consistent rules.
